1. Multiple Ventilation Options
The Andersen Storm doors provide flexibility in choosing the right ventilation system that’s right for your home. This could be based on your climate, your usage, or your preference. The first option is a Fixed door. This is a piece of glass that is built into the frame of the door. It stays as 1 solid piece of glass. There is no ventilation but allows for a lot of extra natural sunlight into your home. The second option is an Interchangeable door. This comes with both a solid piece of glass and a full-size screen. You can exchange the inserts whenever you deem necessary. Looking for ventilation? Put the screen in. Looking just for the sunlight? Swap it out for the glass insert. The third option is a Single-Vent door. This option provides both the glass and the screen built into a single insert. No more swapping between the inserts. Ready for some fresh air? Use the built on handle to slide the glass down exposing the screen. Once you’re done, slide the handle up to seal the door again.2. Quick Release Glass / Screen Exchange System
The Interchangeable door is one of the most popular ventilation choices with storm doors and the patented Quick Release Exchange System makes the swap out process flawless. Previous methods made swapping out the insert tedious and time-consuming. With the Quick Release Exchange System, you simply use the handle to release the insert by flipping it upwards. The glass insert pops out of place for you to grab and replace with the screen insert (or vice versa). To lock the new insert, flip the handle back into its normal position.3. TruScene® and Splineloc® Insect Screens
