There are three venting options available, and it’s important to understand the differences.
#1. Fullview Fixed Storm Door
The first option is to have a fixed insert for your storm door. A fixed insert is a laminated glass panel that has a weathertight seal. This insert is not removable from the storm door. That means that there is no ventilation occurring with this insert. Instead, this option provides year around protection from elements outside the main door. The fullview fixed storm door provides a solid pane from the top to the bottom of the storm door providing maximum exposure for natural light into the home while still protecting from harmful UV rays.Benefits:

Cons:
- No ventilation option
#2. Interchangeable
The interchangeable option also provides a fullview glass insert with alternative glass options, but this storm door allows for this glass panel insert to be taken out of the storm door and replaced with an insect screen at any given moment. It uses a quick-release exchange system that allows you to swap out the glass insert for a screen insert within a matter of seconds. By switching the insert over to the insect screen, you are now allowing for maximum air ventilation into your home. Since the exchange process between inserts is so quick and easy, you’ll be able to quickly switch between ventilation and not ventilation as frequently as you desire.

#3. Single Vent
The last venting option is the Single Vent. The Single Vent Storm Door option is a fixed insert (the insert does not come out). However, this insert can be used to control the amount of ventilation that you’d like to experience at any given moment. The insert contains two glass panels stacked vertically in a way that allows the top panel to slide downwards behind the other. As it slides down, it is pulling down a retractable screen that is stored in the upper compartment of the storm door. The further you pull the top glass panel down; the more screen is exposed providing more ventilation. This gives you full control over exactly how much ventilation you are looking for at any given moment.Benefits:
