First, determine the frame style on the existing door glass in your door. There are two styles. A Raised Profile sits above of the surface of the door. When you run your hand from the doors flat surface to the window, it will ride overtop of a bump, indicating that the frame sticks out from the door. A Flush Profile is even with the surface of the door. When running your hand from door to glass, it will be flat and then drop off to the glass directly.
